Welcome to my Blog. My name is Dalya. We moved to the the United Arab Emirates in 2011 from the beautiful New England area of the United States. It is hard to believe that my sister, parents and dog Zeus have been living abroad for close to have of my life. It has help open my eyes to the world and help me to see the world without blinders. I attend a college predatory high school in Abu Dhabi. I am so grateful to have friends from all over the world that will be my friend for life. The purpose of my blog is share some insights of my journey as a expat student living abroad. What my life is like and the wonderful experiences that I have had through travel, school, doing community service work and playing soccer abroad. You will see my journeys to: UAE, Nepal, Tanzania, Mauritius Islands, Turkey, Jordan, Thailand, India, Prague, Vienna ,England and many more.

It is my belief that friendships last a lifetime and strong academics are just as important as playing my favorite sport of football/soccer. My interest is to go into sports medicine and be a primary sports medicine physician.
